OE Remote Programming (RAP®) Details

OE Remote Reprogramming RAP® Process:
(also depicted on tablet screens)

  • Give us a call to be scheduled
    • Schedule for the next available appointment
    • Or choose a later time that works best for you
  • Our OE Remote Reprogramming RAP® Service Technicians will call you at the time of your scheduled appointment.
  • Plug in the Drive™ device
    • Thirty (30) minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, securely plug the power cord into a wall outlet or an extension cord, and check to make sure the green LED is illuminated.
  • Power up the Drive™ device
    • Select the button and complete all onscreen instructions.

A separate Battery Maintainer is required!

  • Programming modules may require a significant amount of time while placing additional strain on the vehicle's battery. Drew Technologies recommends using the 100amp PowerMax PMBC-ADJ Series battery maintainer to cover all vehicle makes—especially European vehicles—which is available for online purchase here.
  • A minimum 75amp Battery Maintainer is required to program most vehicles.

Saturday appointments

  • Appointments must be scheduled Monday – Friday.
  • Outbound calls are only made to those with scheduled appointments. Inbound calls will not be received during Saturday business hours.
  • Appointments are available beginning at 9:00am EST, with the last appointments being scheduled at 2:00pm EST.
  • Nissan Valve Body/Transmission Programming appointments will be scheduled no later than 1:00pm EST.
  • All currently-supported OE makes will be supported.
  • Level 2 Tech Support issues will be pushed to the following Monday for processing.
